Bennie was very informative on what palliative care treatments and alternative treatments are available for my dad.
She was kind and listened to our questions. She also gave good advice on how to enjoy life.

I am currently being monitored for prostrate cancer in three monthly check up's. I have completed my first three monthly check up and I am due for my six month check up. My experience to date has been positive with the help and support by both Roger Wheelwright (advanced nurse practitioner for prostate) and also Helen Smith (patient support officer) both at Croydon University hospital in Croydon. I have been given great support by both officers which has helped me deal and also understand my situation as well as have a more positive attitude as well. I cannot praise the service I am receiving more greatly and especially the two officers mentioned.
